Team Member Profiles
David Bray
is the head designer and illustrator on the team and also a student of architecture at the University of Minnesota. Employing his design skills, David made sure that Joseph could be constructed in four simple modules in addition to being structurally sound. He was able to use his knowledge of Google SketchUp to construct clear and simple illustrations to aid the instructions. When he isn't constructing Lego elephants, David likes to spend his time snowboarding, wakeboarding and paying guitar. He also loves sushi.
Meredith Neumann
is the head writer and editor for the team. Most of the text on this site, including the home page, the instructions, design memo and even these team member bios were written by Meredith. She collaborated heavily with David on the illustrations to make sure they fit cohesively with the written instructions. In her life outside of creating Lego Wikis, Meredith is studying to become a Marriage & Family Therapist. She was able to use her skills in empathy to put herself in the place of potential user's in order to write more clear and effective instructions. Meredith loves traveling and getting to know different types of people.
Mary Gaffney
is our usability engineer. Her main duty was to devise a method for testing the efficacy of our instructions. She tested users and delivered feedback for improvements to the illustrations and instructions to David and Meredith. You will find Mar's report on product usability on the sidebar under the heading Testing Data. In her free time, Mary enjoys drumming, swimming, soccer, and photography.
